No New Posts Character Logs

Character logs can be useful things. If you’re confused on the prospect still, then you can always check the rules where there’s a whole section focused on explaining the point of these things. I would highly advise you make a log, but it’s not something that’s compulsory if you don’t want to!

No New Posts Staff Room

Sometimes staff members need to converse in privacy, away from the regular members, and this is the place where they can do it. Important issues about the site will be discussed in here, and events will be organised. Also, it’s here I can be alerted of any rule breaks and other things that need correcting.

No New Posts Accepted Characters

Once your character has been approved, your thread will be moved from the ‘new’ section into this board. Congratulations! Your dog is now ready to go and roleplay. But remember you can’t enter the city until your character has been accepted! It shouldn’t take more than a day for your dog to be moved here.

No New Posts The Cinema

On the Eastern side of town, there sits an old cinema that was long ago forgotten by men and left to rot on its own. The many different screening rooms and the large lobby seemed like a perfect place for a growing pack of dogs to live, and so the canines started to venture into it’s dark quarters and settled there. Humans don’t come here anymore, and the food that once littered the floor has decayed away, but the building still provides excellent shelter.

No New Posts The Mansion

In the very centre of town, a large old house that used to hold the richest family in town stands dilapidated and forgotten to town. Inside, fading wallpaper and dusty furniture sits lost to time, but life starts to creep back in as the dogs of the city have started to recognise it’s potential as a perfect place to start a pack. The stairs leading upstairs have completely collapsed in disrepair, but the whole downstairs floor is free for the dogs to live in.

No New Posts The Factory

Towards the Northern border of the city, an old factory lives which has also been lost in the memories of humans. Now it stands with no life within it, apart from the growing amount of dogs that live as a pack in it’s grimy walls. Many corridors branch off in all directions inside, and each runs past hundreds of rooms, all dusty and most of them locked. If you really search into the depths of the building, you come to a large mechanical room where the old machinery still lives, although it’s quite dangerous to explore there.

The City

No New Posts The Construction Yard

The construction yard is quite a hazardous place to venture into, but many dogs do for the thrill of adventure. Lots of building machinery can be found in here, most of it being used by the humans. Large mounds of dirt and mud are piled up in random places around the enclosure, and pipes and pieces of metal can be found everywhere. Pups usually like to come here, but you have to be very careful to avoid getting hurt…

No New Posts The Mall

The mall is usually bustling with humans, and it’s hard to sneak in here without getting caught. But if you do, then it’s well worth the effort. Shops are found in every direction, and the litterbins dotted around the clean floors are overflowing with food you can scavenge. As long as you don’t get in the way of too many people, then you should be free to explore and see the sights as much as you want.

No New Posts The Zoo

The zoo is a very interesting place to explore indeed, and many dogs mill around with the crowd of humans to look at the exotic animals in all of the enclosures, creatures they wouldn’t have dreamed of in a world of concrete. Again, food can be found in every direction, with stands and stalls awaiting sales everywhere you go, but most canines just come here to look in amazement at the astonishing animals.

No New Posts Café de Rêves

Café de Rêves is a small restaurant at the end of a quiet street, but it is perhaps one of the friendliest places towards dogs in the city. Canines aren’t allowed in the warm building itself, but behind the café there is are some gardens, in which dogs are welcome. Food is left outside for the animals, and even the humans that go there don’t do anything to harm them, usually. Overall, it is a nice safe place to go, and indeed many mothers bring their pups here a lot where they’re sheltered from the rest of the town.

No New Posts The Beach

The beach is found right on the Western side of town, a large beach runs along the whole length of a road. In winter, it can be a hard place to explore, with raging storms and freezing water, but in summer it’s a small section of paradise. For the most part, it’s empty, as a large beach is not far away where the humans tend to go, but sometimes a person will wander down these sandy shores. Dogs come here to play and relax, so enjoy the friendly atmosphere.

The Countryside

Board Threads Posts Last Post
No New Posts The Forest

A large forest dominates a large part of the rural country, and it can be seen even from the edge of the city. It is here that the dogs come to escape the noise of the town, but the feeling of the woods changes due to the time of day. In day, it is a beautiful place that even a lost pup would find comforting, but at night, shadows and darkness loom from every direction. Don’t come alone, because you don’t know what could be hiding in the shadows…

No New Posts The Caves

A large spine of mountains encircles the countryside, and whilst these themselves are too perilous and dangerous to climb, a large group of caves can be explored at their feet. The large caverns can be entered by anyone who wants to go in them, but few do. Very little light penetrates the darkness, and there are certain places where there is only darkness. No plant life grows inside, and it is a hazardous place to venture into. Who knows what secrets could be hidden inside…

No New Posts The River

A large river flows down from the mountains over the countryside, it’s course going all the way down to the beach if you follow it far enough. Up in the rural areas, the waters are clean and fresh, compared to the polluted areas in the city. Dogs come here to frolic and play in the icy cold waters, and some parts are quite shallow. But there are stretches where the river becomes very deep and the currents grow stronger, and so these patches are best left avoided.

No New Posts Hangman's Fields

Hangman’s Fields surround the forests and occupy the remaining countryside, and their grassy plains stretch on for miles and miles. Each field is separated by row of bushes, which have overgrown since the farmers long ago abandoned them. On some fields, you can even find some stray horses; although they are skittish and it is extremely unlikely a dog could approach them. Canines come here to enjoy the scenery and relax, although sometimes if a fight is taking place it will be brought here due to the large space.

No New Posts The Windmill

The windmill stands abandoned in the middle of a grassy field, and it is a particularly safe place to come indeed. Its wooden walls are decaying slightly from age, and inside there is little to nothing left. A few farming tools are stacked against the side, and a single staircase leads upstairs to the mechanics that operated the now dilapidated sails. Mothers come here to give birth to their young, because of the serenity, and pups are brought into a safe and secure world in the cosy surroundings.
